Spring dreaming....

I guess, for the time being at least, the only thing one can do is dream. Dream of sunshine, and warmth, new grass, new leaves, and of course flowers everywhere.
I was born in Spring, in May to be exact, which is sort of half way to Summer, which seems to have influenced my sense of well being in the kind of weather we normally expect in the season. Warm, but not hot, an air of a new start on life, and color bursts of flowers as they, too, shake off their dormancy of winter.
And since the weather is still cool enough, sweaters and cardigans are still welcome necessities during this season of Spring. What else could one want?

Baby it's cold outside...

There is no getting away from the frigid temperatures that are gripping the USA right now. As much as I would like to concentrate on the coming spring season, with all the new colors and new beginnings, I am totally frozen in the current winter freeze and the attempt to survive to the next spring by cuddling up in some warm sweaters, hats, and shawls.

A new spring in my step...

 I cannot wait until there is a new spring. I want to see color and lots of it, sprinkled with some neutrals too, but all indicating that the cold weather will be a thing of the past.
